Wax seal design tips
-
Keep artwork bold: Wax seals work best with clear shapes, strong lines and simple initials, logos or icons.
-
Avoid tiny details: Very thin lines, small text and complex artwork may not show clearly once pressed into wax.
-
Choose the shape early: Round, oval and custom-shaped seals all affect artwork placement, spacing and final presentation.
-
Plan the final use: Wax seals for envelopes, packaging, certificates and gift wrapping may need different sizes, colours or adhesive backing.
-
Think about the full set: Wax seals pair well with ribbon, stickers, packaging boxes, envelopes, cards, pouches and gift-ready stationery bundles.
