Sticky note design tips
- Keep the writing area clear: Sticky notes need usable space, so keep logos, patterns and background artwork light and minimal.
- Plan the adhesive edge: Leave enough room near the sticky edge so the note can be peeled, placed and used comfortably.
- Use soft background colours: Light colours and subtle patterns help notes stay readable when people write over them.
- Choose the size by use case: Small notes work well for quick reminders, while larger notes suit lists, planning, workshops and desk stationery.
- Think about bundles: Sticky notes pair well with pens, notebooks, notepads, stickers, bookmarks, packaging sleeves and gift-ready stationery sets.
