Medal design tips
  • Keep key details bold: Medals work best with clear logos, readable award text and strong centre artwork.
  • Plan both sides: Use the front for the main award design and the back for event details, dates, categories, sponsors or engraving.
  • Choose plating early: Gold, silver, bronze, antique, black nickel and rose gold finishes can completely change the final feel.
  • Think about the ribbon: Ribbon colour, width, print and attachment style can make the medal feel more complete and event-ready.
  • Design the presentation: Medals pair well with ribbons, boxes, backing cards, certificates, stickers, lanyards and event packaging.
