Card bookmark design tips
- Design both sides: Use the front for artwork, quotes or branding and the back for a QR code, author details, book list, event details or social handle.
- Keep text readable: Bookmarks are narrow, so short quotes, clear fonts and strong contrast usually work best.
- Plan the safe area: Keep important text and artwork away from edges, rounded corners, hole punches, tassels and trim lines.
- Choose the finish by purpose: Matte feels soft and literary, gloss feels bright, foil feels premium, and laminated finishes can add durability.
- Think about bundles: Card bookmarks pair well with books, notebooks, stickers, postcards, reading journals, packaging sleeves and gift-ready sets.
