Refund policy
Return and Refund Policy
Thanks for choosing Your Stuff Made. We help artists, creators, brands, events, agencies and businesses create custom products through ethical, made-to-order manufacturing.
Because most of our products are made specifically for each customer, our return and refund process is different from a standard online shop.
Custom Products
Most products ordered through Your Stuff Made are custom-made. This may include enamel pins, acrylic charms, stickers, patches, apparel, packaging, plush toys, keychains, stationery, event merchandise, promotional products and other made-to-order items.
Custom Products are created using your artwork, logo, brief, quote, chosen specifications, approved proof, sample or production instructions.
Because Custom Products are made specifically for you, we generally cannot accept returns, refunds or cancellations for change of mind once artwork review, quoting, sourcing, sampling, proofing, material purchasing or production has started.
Change of Mind
We usually cannot offer refunds for Custom Products if:
- you change your mind after approving a quote, invoice, artwork, proof, sample or specification;
- you no longer need the products;
- your event, launch, campaign or deadline changes;
- you ordered the wrong quantity, size, finish, colour or product type;
- your design, branding or business plans change after production has started;
- minor manufacturing variations occur within normal custom production tolerances.
Manufacturing Variations
Custom manufacturing can involve small variations between digital mockups, physical samples, production batches and final products.
Minor differences may occur in colour, size, finish, texture, plating, stitching, printing, packaging, acrylic, fabric, enamel, embroidery, paper stock, material batches or handmade details.
We always aim to match your approved artwork, quote, proof or sample as closely as reasonably possible, but small production variations are normal and do not automatically mean a product is faulty.
Deposits
Many custom orders can begin with a deposit. Unless agreed otherwise in writing:
- a deposit allows us to begin work on your project;
- this may include artwork review, quoting, proofing, sourcing, sampling, material purchasing, supplier coordination or production planning;
- deposits may be non-refundable once work has started;
- the remaining balance is usually due after photo proof or before shipping;
- orders may be paused if the balance is not paid on time.
Samples
Samples are usually custom-made to test your design, product, material, size or finish.
Sample orders are generally not refundable once sample work, artwork setup, sourcing or production has started.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged, materially defective, incorrect or significantly different from the approved specification, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Email hi@yourstuffmade.com with:
- your order number or invoice number;
- clear photos or video of the issue;
- photos of the packaging if the order arrived damaged;
- a short explanation of the concern.
We will review the issue and may offer a suitable remedy, such as repair, remake, replacement, store credit, partial refund or refund, depending on the issue, the order details and your rights under applicable consumer laws.
Late Delivery or Missed Deadlines
We work hard to meet agreed timelines, but production and shipping estimates are not guaranteed unless we confirm a specific deadline in writing.
We are not responsible for delays caused by late approvals, artwork changes, payment delays, courier delays, customs, weather, supplier delays, public holidays, force majeure events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Refund Timing
If a refund is approved, it will usually be processed back to the original payment method. Refund timing depends on your bank, card provider, payment provider or checkout method.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under applicable consumer laws, including non-excludable consumer guarantees.
