About Thalassa
Thalassa is a singer-songwriter based in Thailand. She released her first song ‘Hey Girl’ as her first single with ‘Rats Records’ in early 2020 and it was a worldwide success among the indie scene. Her music has been described as a mixture of indie pop, synth pop, and new wave. She is half Spanish, French, Hong Kong, and German but was born and raised in Thailand. Thalassa started singing in Operas and Musicals when she was eight years old. She performed in The Lion King, Les Miserables, Brundibar, Mae Naak at Bloomsbury Theatre in London, La Calisto, Reya The Musical, and more. She also sang in Choirs such as AMAS Choir and Thai Youth Choir, and even in the choir of Andrea Bocelli. Throughout her teenage years, Thalassa went to summer camps at Berklee and West End Stage. She can play the piano, guitar, bass, and flute. Thalassa wrote her first song in tribute to her uncle and grandmother when she was thirteen years old, and she has never stopped writing songs since then. She has written songs for Joyéria Suarez, Orion Constellation Collection, Karmakamet, and she is learning Music Composition at The Conservatory of Music, Rangsit University. Her music is a mixture of everything that she loves into one. Since 2020, Thalassa has released two other songs; ‘Love Dove’, and ‘To Hermit’s Lounge.’ She is also currently writing new songs waiting to be released.
