Following the success of publishing an illustrated anthology of witchcraft, where Nona created a unique witch for each of the different Star Signs, she embarked on her next ambitious project: Modern Monsters. This new endeavor was an A to Z anthology that took her on a journey around the globe, encountering unusual and unique creatures from various mythologies. Nona aimed to explore how these ancient beings adapted to the modern world, delving into their contemporary lives filled with activities like binge-watching Netflix and enjoying karaoke. The project not only allowed Nona to showcase her character design and illustration skills but also provided her with an opportunity to fuse her love for storytelling and art.
With the completion of Modern Monsters on the horizon, Nona hoped to gain more confidence in her character design and illustration abilities. Her ultimate goal was to create her very first comic book, filled with original short stories that would captivate readers. Additionally, she yearned to find time to continue honing her oil painting skills, eager to master yet another artistic medium.
Although Nona occasionally found herself succumbing to procrastination, she remained determined to realize her many ambitious plans and schemes. She knew that with perseverance, dedication, and a little push, she could turn her passion for creating art and stories into a flourishing and fulfilling career.
